About us

The Colorado High School Republicans is a political organization that aims to unify and coordinate youth activists from across the state. We are working hard to change the narrative about how high schoolers view the Republican Party and conservatism. 

Together we will advance our cause and the next generation of Republicans.

With our ever-expanding network of leaders and resources, we give a strong and collective voice for all young conservatives. The High School Republicans is an entirely student-run and focused organization opened to all interested teens.

Personal Liberty

• We believe in the individual liberties of each American through our God-given rights outlined in the constitution and wish to uphold the freedoms of all American citizens. We believe that the right to Life, Liberty, and property should not be impeded upon by an overbearing federal government. The High School Republicans will fight for basic freedoms at the center of our mission.

Free Speech

• We take a firm stance against political and ideological censorship of speech protected by the First Amendment. All Americans should be able to express themselves without government interference or blocking from government-allied Big-Tech corporations. We will firmly advocate against censorship and push a pro-free speech agenda in the classroom, community, and online, in order to foster discussion and debate on the issues of the day. We believe that without free speech, there is no United States, and we will continually fight against those who wish to stop freedom of speech.

Small Government

• We believe in a system with minimal government interference in the daily lives of Americans. Everyone should be able to choose their own path and not be held back by an overbearing government. It is of the upmost importance that we advocate for the shrinking of government to restore government by, of, and for the people. We believe in electing leaders that rigorously adhere to shrinking the size of the federal government and leaving more to the states.

Low Taxes

• We believe in American citizens being able to keep the money that they earn in a thriving economy. We don’t want to crush the business of our nation and instead allow Americans to grow and prosper. The High School Republicans will advocate for fair methods and levels of taxation across the country in order to foster a richer and more economically stable America.

Protection of Life

• We stand by the fact that every human has the right to life and will uphold that fact against the rise in abortions. We wish to protect those who are unborn and not allow their lives to be cut short. We firmly advocate for pro-life policies and candidates in order to defend the right to life for our weakest.

Fiscal Responsibility

• We believe in a fiscally responsible government with a balanced budget. We believe that spending should be responsible and realistic, and we wish to advocate for a government that supports fiscal responsibility. We will push local, state and national legislators and legislative bodies to begin working off the national debt- as well as re-investing into American jobs and industries.

America First

• We believe in putting the interests of the American people above that of foreign interests. We wish to advocate for non-intervention and pro-America policy. The High School Republicans plan to push a pro-American jobs agenda and advocate for American workers and citizens, as well as fighting the scourge of globalization and intervention in foreign conflicts. We will fight to elect America First leaders that rigorously adhere to putting America first.

Energy Independence

• We believe that America should firmly advocate for its energy independence in order to separate our economic interests from dictatorial nations. We believe in pressuring our elected officials to begin extraction of American energy, and we wish for new and clean energy methods to be developed- By Americans, For Americans 

Anti-Wokeness

• We take a firm stance against woke culture that is being spread throughout society today. We stand by tradition and fact. We will firmly fight against woke teachings in the classrooms and we will advocate for transparency in our schools. We believe that woke ideology is a poison and will lead to the downfall of western society- and we advocate for traditional values and objective morality in a time of moral decay.

Anti-Big Tech

• We do not stand by the monopolistic big tech industry that is censoring people for their views. We wish to have platforms in which we can express our conservative views without being censored and banned. We will push our elected officials to take a hardline stance on monopolistic and anti-American tech companies. We plan to use these platforms to spread our message while attempting to change the narratives being falsely spread.

Anti-Socialism

• We do not stand with socialists government that only hurt people and create dictators. We work to uphold capitalist values that support hard-working American citizens. We will work to fight socialist elected leaders and replace them with American patriots who understand the need for a strong and prosperous economy.

Anti-Critical Race Theory

• We do not support the teaching of critical race theory in schools to young and impressionable children. We strive to uphold the will of parents to choose what their children are taught. We fight to end the teaching of this inherently corrupt and racist ideology and we firmly stand against those who push hatred onto children.

Anti-Illegal Immigration 

• We firmly stand against the act of illegal immigration and the effects it has on our nation. We look to halt the continuation of illegal immigrants flooding our nation and hurting our fellow Americans. We intend to fight for increased border security in order to stop the flow of crime and drugs such as fentanyl- which has been allowed into our vulnerable communities for too long. We strongly advocate for a strong and well-defended border in order to protect our nation from untraceable immigration.
